“Country of Terror”: Netanyahu reacts to partial recognition of Palestine

The decisions of the governments of Ireland, Norway, and Spain to recognize Palestine as an independent state resemble the distribution of a “reward for terrorism.” This was stated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a video message, The Times of Israel reports.

The minister, referring to the results of a poll conducted shortly after the October 7 attack by Hamas militants, noted that 80% of Palestinians support the massacre.

“This evil must not get a state. It will be a country of terror,” Benjamin Netanyahu said.

The politician is confident that the Palestinians will try again to carry out an attack similar to the one that took place on October 7. However, Israel will not agree to this.

Netanyahu added that rewarding terrorism cannot bring peace and will not prevent Israel from defeating Hamas.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz promised not to leave unanswered the decisions of Spain, Norway, and Ireland to recognize the state of Palestine. The Minister recalled Israeli ambassadors from these countries for immediate consultations.

Katz also spoke with the ambassadors of Spain, Norway, and Ireland. According to the publication, they were severely reprimanded. In addition, the diplomats will be shown a video of how Hamas militants kidnapped five Israeli women soldiers on October 7.
